Deputy Chairman

The EAG Deputy Chairman is approved by the Plenary Session to substitute the Chairman in his/her absence and to perform other duties assigned by the Chairman. The Deputy Chairman shall be approved for each presidency period on a rotating basis in the order of the Russian alphabetical order of the names of the Member States. The EAG Chairman and Deputy Chairman cannot be simultaneously representatives of the same EAG Member State.

Mr. Dzmitry Zakharov

Director of the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

Born in 1982 in Mogilev, Republic of Belarus.

Graduated from the Belarusian State University of Economics in 2004, and from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus in 2018.

Began his career in 2004 at Petrikovsky Agroservis OJSC.

From 2005 to 2010, he worked as Deputy Head of Department and Head of the Legal Department at the State Unitary Enterprise "ZhREU Leninsky District" of Mogilev.

From 2010 to 2021, he worked as Chief Specialist, Deputy Head of Department, and Head of Department at the State Control Committee of the Mogilev Region.

In 2021, he worked as Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of the Mogilev Region.

From 2021 to 2024, he worked as First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of the Mogilev Region.

In March 2024, he was appointed Director of the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
