Worked in the executive power bodies of the Leningrad city and district.

Since 1991 worked as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on external relations (CER) of the Mayor's office of Saint-Petersburg.

From April 2004 to March 2007 - first Deputy Head of the Protocol service of the President of the Russian Federation.

Since March 19, 2007- Deputy Head of the Federal service for financial monitoring.

Since September 25, 2007- Head of the Federal service for financial monitoring.

Since May 16, 2008- Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation.

State Councilor of the Russian Federation of the 1st class.
