    On October 6-10, 2014 in New Delhi (India) in preparation for the second round of EAG mutual evaluations training has been held.

    The event was focused on the training of the representatives of the EAG Member-States delegations that would be involved as evaluators and analysts during the 2nd round of the EAG mutual evaluations.

    The workshop was opened by the EAG Chairman Dr. K.P. Krishnan (India), Deputy Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service Mr. Vladimir Glotov (Russia) and the EAG Executive secretary Mr. Boris Toropov (Russia).

    The training of the EAG evaluators coincided with the auspicious occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration on the EAG and document Issues of the EAG Competence that held in October 6, 2004. During the opening event it was noted that the workshop is traditionally marked as an example of horizontal cooperation within the FATF family.

    The EAG Secretariat, the FATF Secretariat and the APG Secretariat representatives were invited as trainers. As the trained in the workshop the EAG Member-States representatives, APG Member-States representatives, the staff of Intergovernmental Group on Combating Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA) Secretariat were attended.

    The trained attended a set of lectures on the methodology and procedures of mutual evaluations on the basis of the earlier FATF training materials, which has been specially modified for this event. At the end of the workshop, the trained made a practical mock evaluation of "State X".

    At the same time it should be noted the high level of organization of the workshop by the Indian side, as well as the views expressed by participants of the need for such events in the future in order to improve the knowledge and skills of experts.
