Workshop: Key Concepts and Best Practices: Implementation of the Revised FATF Standards on Recommendation 8

From April 28 to 29, 2025, in Vienna (Austria), the EAG Secretariat participated in workshop on “Key Concepts and Best Practices: Implementation of the Revised FATF Standards on Recommendation 8.” The workshop was attended by the representatives of delegations from the Central Asian Member States of the Eurasian Group, civil society, international and regional organizations.

The purpose of the workshop was to study the key principles and concepts underlying Recommendation 8, as well as best practices in implementing the requirements of that recommendation. During the sessions, the EAG Secretariat noted the specifics of implementing the requirements of Recommendation 8, taking into account the specifics and requirements of the national legislation of EAG Member States.
