Mission of the mutual evaluation of the Republic of Belarus

In Minsk a team of EAG assessors has begun the onsite mission of the mutual evaluation of the Republic of Belarus.

From March 11 to March 21, 2019 the EAG assessors will meet with all government bodies of the Republic of Belarus involved in the combating money laundering, terrorist financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (AML / CFT), as well as with private sector representatives (banks, insurance entities, leasing organizations, notaries, lawyers, etc.). During the meetings issues of compliance of the Belarusian legislation with international standards in the AML/CFT field and the effectiveness of the implementation of legislation will be discussed.
