Sentence for terrorist financing was pronounced in Russian Federation

The South District Military Court of Russian Federation sentenced a person committed terrorist financing. 

Preliminary investigation and the Court established that during the period from September 2016 till July 2017 Mr. A, being in Moscow and also in the Republic of Dagestan, facilitated terroristic activity with providing money to an ISIL participant.

The evidence gathered by the investigation was found sufficient by court. According the court verdict Mr. A was found guilty of crime provided in article 205.1 of Criminal code and was sentenced to a prison.

The court sentence hasn’t entered into force yet and may be complained with the Appeal Military Court.
