Employees of the regional financial investigation department of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus have discovered the facts of the illegal use of the simplified tax system by an individual entrepreneur who rented real estate in one of the district centers.

It was established that the businesswoman rewrote part of her property to her relatives, registered as individual entrepreneurs and using a simplified taxation system. So, under the gift agreement, she handed over the trading room to her son. In another case, she sold another relative for 100 belarusian rubles a capital building worth more than 20 thousand belarusian rubles.

In fact, the woman continued to use these premises in her commercial activities, but the proceeds from renting them were already reflected in the accounts of business relatives. This allowed the business owner to illegally apply a simplified taxation system, underestimating her own revenue.

The damage caused to the state in the form of unpaid taxes amounted to over 75 thousand belarusian rubles.

A criminal case has been opened. A preliminary investigation is underway.
