The regional office of the Financial Investigations Department of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus uncovered instances of corruption involving the administrator handling the economic insolvency (bankruptcy) proceedings of a state construction enterprise
in the region. During the liquidation of this enterprise, he repeatedly accepted bribes from representatives of private firms in exchange for favorable decisions.

In particular, the administrator received a bribe of 9,000 Belarusian rubles from the deputy director of a commercial entity for designating this company as the winner in auctions involving the sale of real estate assets of the liquidated state enterprise at undervalued prices.

In addition, in 2024–2025 he received 2,700 Belarusian rubles and 3,000 USD from representatives of two commercial firms. The money was paid in exchange for favorable decisions regarding the signing of contracts for appraising the real estate of the liquidated enterprise and for extending the payment deadline for a purchased capital structure.

Criminal cases have been initiated against the official under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 430 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

The suspect has been taken into custody. A preliminary investigation is underway.
