Sentence for terrorist financing was pronounced in Russian Federation

The South District Military Court of Russian Federation 17.06.2020 sentenced a person who committed terrorist financing. 

Preliminary investigation and the Court established that about January 19, 2019 Mr. M, being in Germany, facilitated terroristic activity with providing money to an ISIL participant.

The evidence gathered by the investigation was found sufficient by court. According the court verdict Mr. M was found guilty of crime provided in article 205.1 of Criminal code and was sentenced to a prison.

The court sentence hasn’t entered into force yet and may be complained with the Appeal Military Court.
