Results of the EAG/ESAAMLG Joint Assessors Training in Delhi, India

At the invitation of the Indian delegation, the EAG and ESAAMLG secretariats organised the Joint Assessors Training in Delhi from 5 to 9 October 2026. The JAT brought together 41 experts from government authorities across 15 EAG and ESAAMLG member states.

The training was delivered by trainers from the two FSRBs secretariats and the FATF Working Group on Risks, Trends and Methods Co-Chair. The training was based on updated materials developed by the FATF Secretariat.

Participants took an active part in practical exercises simulating key stages of a mutual evaluation, preparing conclusions following the evaluation of a fictitious country. They also developed skills in applying the updated FATF Methodology.

The secretariat will continue to organise training for official experts from EAG member states, in collaboration with the FATF and other FATF-style regional bodies.
