Representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan and the EAG Secretariat discussed the national AML/CFT legislation progress

On the 23d of January 2013 the representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan and the EAG Secretariat held a discussion on the progress report of the Republic of Tajikistan, which will be considered at the regional FATF subgroup "Europe-Eurasia" (EERRG) meeting at the end of this month.

The event was held through the EAG videoconferencing system with technical support of the ITMCFM.

The first Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Jamshed Yusufiyon as well as the representratives of the National Bank of Tajikistan and the EAG Secretariat staff members took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed the progress in the national AML/CFT legislation of Tajikistan, in particular, the upcoming legislation amendments aimed at elimination of the strategic deficiencies of Tajikistan AML/CFT system.
