Representatives of Rosfinmonitoring participated in the third international seminar on countering terrorism in China

Delegates of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service took part in the third international seminar on countering terrorism devoted to "Global Counterterrorism and Security Governance under New Circumstances: Regional and International Responsibility".

The event took place on August 23-27 in Urumqi (People's Republic of China). Representatives of relevant ministries and departments from more than 20 countries participated in the seminar.

The representative of Rosfinmonitoring presented specifics of terrorist financing in Central Asia at a session on the movement of members and assets of terrorist groups. He delivered the results of a case study conducted by the Russian side at the BRICS Working Group on Counterterrorism (RGAT BRICS), and shared plans for work in this area.

During the event, participants held bilateral consultations with representatives of the BRICS countries on the development of international projects. The format of further cooperation in the context of the Russian chairmanship in the BRICS Subgroup on Countering the Financing of Terrorism in 2026-2027 was discussed.
