Outcomes of the EAG Assessors Training course, 20-24 July 2026, Moscow

In accordance with the EAG Work Plan for 2026-2027, the Eurasian Group’s Secretariat conducted an in-person Assessors Training course in Moscow on 20-24 July 2026.

A total of 29 representatives from financial intelligence units, state supervisory and law enforcement authorities from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan attended the training.

During the course, participants studied the updated Methodology for assessing technical compliance with the FATF Recommendations and the effectiveness of national AML/CFT/CPF systems. They also completed a series of practical exercises simulating the current round of mutual evaluations. The knowledge and skills acquired will enable participants to fulfil the roles of assessors, reviewers or national experts on AML/CFT/CPF.

The Secretariat will continue to provide FATF Standard Training Courses and Assessor Training courses in accordance with the approved Work Plan for 2026-2027.
