On the results of the EAG Assessors Training

The EAG Secretariat conducted the Assessors Training from 10 to 14 November 2025 in Moscow, Russian Federation. A total of 33 participants from 12 countries attended the training, including representatives from the EAG Member States (Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) and the MENAFATF (Egypt, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Oman).

During the training, experts from the competent authorities participated in theoretical and practical exercises on the updated Methodology for assessing technical compliance with the FATF Recommendations and the effectiveness of AML/CFT/CPF systems. They also covered the FATF Universal Procedures and the EAG Procedures for the third round of EAG mutual evaluations.

The EAG Secretariat experts delivered the Assessors Training using FATF training materials on the platform of the International Training and Methodology Centre for Financial Monitoring (ITMCFM).

Secretariat will continue to train assessors and national AML/CFT/CPF experts in the course of preparation for the third round of mutual evaluations.
