On the outcomes of the workshop: Best practices for ensuring transparency of beneficial ownership of legal persons

    From July 7 to 9, 2026, a training event for representatives of government bodies and the private sector of the Kyrgyz Republic on the study of best practices for ensuring transparency of beneficial ownership of legal persons was held in Bishkek with the technical assistance of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development. The EAG Secretariat participated in the event as an expert and moderator. International experts took part in the seminar as lecturers.

    The event was organized to prepare the country for the 3rd round of the EAG Mutual Evaluations and to enhance the knowledge and competencies of participants of the national AML/CFT system of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of identification, verification, and analysis of beneficial ownership information. Based on the outcomes of the training, the experts developed proposals for the preparation to the upcoming visit of EAG assessors.
