On publication of the 2nd progress report of the Republic of Tajikistan

The 34th EAG Plenary Meeting in June 2021 approved the 2nd progress report of the Republic of Tajikistan.  

The Republic of Tajikistan has demonstrated progress in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies noted in the MER. As a result, the rating on the following Recommendations was changed: the rating on R.7 was upgraded from NC to PC; the rating on R.16, P35 was upgraded from PC to LC.

Tajikistan remains under enhanced monitoring and will continue to report to the EAG on further progress in improving the national AML/CFT system.
