IC meeting

A meeting of the Interagency Committee for Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation (IC), chaired by Rosfinmonitoring Director Yury Chikhanchin, was held on 10 March 2020.

The main theme of the meeting was the discussion of the IC's current objectives for bolstering the national AML/CFT system, including as part of the efforts to improve its effectiveness in line with the FATF recommendations formulated based on the outcomes of the 2019 mutual evaluation of the Russian Federation.

Participants also discussed efforts to combat the misuse of writs of executions in transactions, which call for the updating of measures to identify and combat such misuse.
