New Appointments

Pursuant to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 2, 2018 Mr. Akmalhoja Mavlonov was appointed the Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan.

Mr. Mavlonov was born in 1975 and has the higher legal education – he graduated from Tashkent State Institute of Law in 2002.

Mr. Mavlonov started his professional carrier in 2002 in the prosecution office of Davlatabad District. After that, he served in different positions in the prosecution offices in Namangan Region. Since 2006, he worked as the prosecutor and senior prosecutor in one of the offices of the General Prosecutor’s Office and successfully held the positions of the prosecutor of Margilan District, the first deputy prosecutor of Sirdaryo Region and the prosecutor of Xorazm Region.

Since February 2018 until his new appointment, Mr. Mavlonov served as the Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crime of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

Pursuant to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 2, 2018 Mr. Dilshod Rakhimov was appointed the acting Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crime of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

Mr. Rakhimov was born in 1978 and has the higher legal education – he graduated from Tashkent State Institute of Law in 2002.

Mr. Rakhimov started his professional carrier in the prosecution authorities in 2010 in one of the Departments under the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan where he held different positions. Since 2012, he successfully served as the prosecutor and senior prosecutor of the section, and after that as the deputy head and head of one of the offices of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Rakhimov served as the Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crime of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

Pursuant to the order of the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan of August 2, 2018 Mr. Umidjon Mukhamedov was appointed the First Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crime of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

Mr. Mukhamedov was born in 1976 and has the higher legal education - he graduated from Tashkent State Institute of Law in 1998.

Mr. Mukhamedov started his professional carrier in 1998 in Tashkent Office of the Military Prosecutor of Uzbekistan, and after that held different positions in the military prosecution authorities of Uzbekistan. Since 2010, he successfully served as the senior prosecutor of the section, deputy head and head of one of the offices of the General Prosecutor’s Office, and the prosecutor of Akhangaran District.

Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Mukhamedov served as the Head of the Law and Order Enforcement Analytical Office of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

Pursuant to the order of the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan of August 2, 2018 Mr. Jamol Achilov was appointed the Head of the Law and Order Enforcement Analytical Office of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

Mr. Achilov was born in 1982 and has the higher legal education - he graduated from Tashkent State Institute of Law in 2002.

Mr. Achilov started his professional carrier in 2008 in the Economic Legislation Office of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, and after that held different positions in the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan. Since 2015, he held important positions in the Cabinet of Ministers and in the Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Achilov served as the Head of the Office for Supervision of Compliance with Customs and Tax Legislation of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.
