The first international conference “The Role of Science and Training in AML/CFT” will be held on September 23, 2010 in Moscow on behest of the Eurasian group on combating money laundering and financing of terrorism

The conference will provide a unique platform for government agencies, supervisory bodies, research intuitions and a wide range of financial experts and analysts to discuss relevant trends in development of AML/CFT systems in the region and globally and propose prominent research topics in the area.

The EAG welcomes all experts engaged in global AML/CFT processes to contribute to the mission of providing for secure and effective international economy. The programme of the conference includes presentations of the EAG member-state delegates and key experts.

The conference is aimed at building partnership of AML/CFT experts in the region in developing relevant research projects for enhancing legislation and mitigating ML/TF risks for private sector.

The EAG is creating an interactive expert community in order to discuss the current issues and share experience with the aim of bringing together specialists in the field of financial monitoring, financial security, law, banking technologies, etc.

The conference is organized with the help of International Training and Methodology Centre for Financial Monitoring. The Centre was established by Rosfinmonitoring and provides training for AML/CFT specialists in the Eurasian region.
