EAG Consultative forum “RBA to New Payment Methods”

In the framework of the 20th Plenary meeting of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (EAG), on June, 16 2014 was held a Consultative forum “RBA to New Payment Methods”.

The organizer of the workshop was International Training and Methodology Centre for Financial Monitoring (Russian Federation).

The Forum was attended by representatives of the regulatory and supervisory authorities, associations and large financial institutions of EAG member states and observers.

An overview of the initiatives of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is scheduled to speak FATF President V.P. Nechaev. The consultation will continue the dialogue between the government and business about development of cooperation in order to assess and mitigate ML / FT risks that may arise not only within the elaboration and implementation of new technologies of making payments, but also within using existing ones.
