International Cooperation Review Group (ICRG) regional Europe/Eurasia subgroup (EERRG) meeting was held in Paris (France) on 16-17 January 2014

On 16-17 January 2014 International Cooperation Review Group (ICRG) regional Europe/Eurasia subgroup (EERRG) meeting was held in Paris (France). The session was attended by representatives of the EAG Secretariat and involved Member-states delegations.
In accordance with the subgroup agenda follow-up reports on Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Albania and Turkey were discussed.

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan informed subgroup members on implementation of Action plans to address their national AML/CFT deficiencies remain.

The subgroup noted the progress on the items, outlined in the Action Plan of Kyrgyzstan, noted the possibility of approval of the decision on the FATF on-site mission within the procedures of removal from the FATF monitoring (out of so-called " gray list") in Kyrgyzstan during the FATF Plenary Meeting in February, 2014. Mission to report the next EERRG meeting in May, 2014.

EERRG noted the considerable progress of Tajikistan in implementing the Action plan on the R. 1, 3 and 5.

In discussions, Tajikistan expressed his intention to accept the on-site mission of FATF experts to evaluate the measures taken under the procedures of removal from the FATF monitoring.
