Former Director of a Sports Club in One of Belarusian Regions Illegally Awarded Himself Bonuses and Allowances

Facts of abuse of official authority by the former head of a sports club in one of the regional centers were revealed during a joint inspection conducted by the regional unit of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus and its financial investigation authority.

It was established that the director unlawfully accrued and paid himself bonuses and allowances for work complexity and intensity, as a result of which he misappropriated about 3.4 thousand Belarusian rubles. According to these facts, a criminal case has been opened.

Earlier, following the results of an inspection by the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the said official was dismissed from his position due to discrediting circumstances.
