FATF Virtual Asset Contact Group Meeting

On April 9 to 10 this year, the regular meeting of the FATF Virtual Assets Contact Group was held to discuss the progress of the FATF Global Network member countries in implementing the requirements of Recommendation 15. The EAG Secretariat briefed the Group on the progress of implementation in the EAG Member States. At the meeting the issues related to the membership, provision of technical assistance and further directions of the Group's activities were also considered. It was decided to continue joint efforts to counteract illegal financial operations with virtual assets and to implement the FATF Standards.
