Delegation of the Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus took part in the 5th EAG Forum

The 5th Forum of the Eurasian Group on countering the legalization of criminal proceeds and the financing of terrorism was held in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan). The forum discussed issues of improving the efficiency
of asset recovery, identification, seizure and confiscation of property, as well as proceeds of crime.

The event also became a platform for discussing issues of increasing the effectiveness of both financial investigations and prosecutions for money laundering in the Eurasian region.

The Belarusian delegation shared the experience of identifying and suppressing the facts of legalization of criminal proceeds using cryptocurrency.
