An open day for the students of the National research nuclear university

In the course of the open day the future financial intelligence agents have taken part in work of the round table. They discussed the results of scientific research on the topic: "Development of methodology of the organization of control procedures in respect of politically exposed persons" with the participation of representatives of the Russian banking sector, as well as the representatives of the FIUs of Belarus and Kazakhstan (in a mode of videoconference).

Head of the Committee on financial monitoring of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan Musiraly Utebaev addressed to the students with the welcoming speech. He noted the importance of training of personnel for the national financial intelligence units of the countries of the Eurasian group and the special role of the Russian Federation in this process.

The discussion on topical issues of the application of risk-based approach by financial institutions of EAG member states in the light of the changes in the FATF standards was held on the results of the event and was highly appreciated by all the participants of the discussion. The representative of the Department on combating laundering of the Federal service for financial monitoring perfomed in front of the students illuminating 'professional aspects of the activities of the national FIUs.
